IMHO UK – Valued Partner Supports the Expansion of Rehabilitation Services at JJCDR

The Jaffna Jaipur Centre for Disability Rehabilitation (JJCDR) proudly acknowledges the generous support extended by IMHO UK, our key donor partner, in strengthening rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities in Sri Lanka.

IMHO UK has provided significant assistance towards the renovation of the new JJCDR facility and the establishment of the Prosthetic Programme using Jaipur Technology materials. This valued support will greatly enhance JJCDR’s capacity to deliver high-quality prosthetic and rehabilitation services.

The support provided by IMHO UK includes:

• Financial assistance of approximately LKR 18 million for the renovation of the new JJCDR building
• Donation of prosthetic materials for the Jaipur Technology Prosthetic Programme, valued at approximately £15k GBP
• Donation of machinery and equipment worth approximately £10k GBP to improve prosthetic production and rehabilitation services
• Logistical support for machinery and prosthetic limbs/materials from Jaipur, valued at approximately £8k GBP

Through this partnership, JJCDR will be able to expand access to affordable, high-quality rehabilitation services for vulnerable communities, including those affected by conflict, road traffic accidents, illness, and other disabilities.
